Mbarara Pharmacy Week 2017

The Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited (APDL) team had an opportunity to showcase at the prestigious Mbarara Pharmacy week which run from February 21st-24th.

The week was an opportunity for the Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited team to have an in depth interaction, mentorship and education session with the various  health care representatives that attended the medical week about the various product brands provided by APDL their unique relevance, prescription and answered any relevant questions about the products.

The students present at the Pharmacy week were excited to interact with our dedicated Medical Representative team and shared back to back knowledge about our products, standards and credible pharmaceutical knowledge that comes in handy when they eventually start field placement and operations.

Eye Medical Camps

This is an initiative where medical teams from various hospitals reach patients in target areas usually rural areas by conducting free eye camps. The patients are screened for various eye diseases and given medication or even treatment for severe cases at no cost.

As APDL, we have been privileged to be part of different Eye medical camps giving us an opportunity to make an impact on different community members.

  1. Lira Medical Camp: Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited was part of the Lira Medical Camp initiative that took place on the 25/03/2017 in different parts of Lira. APDL gave 120 pcs of eye drops towards this noble cause.

 

  1. West Lango Diocese Health Camp: The APDL team was honored to join hands with West Lango Diocese to successfully pull off the Lango Health Camp. APDL contributed 17 cartons of LVP and SVP products to this moral cause.
